The 1st Dalai Lama, Gedun Drupa[1] (Tibetan: དགེ་འདུན་གྲུབ་པ།, Wylie: dge 'dun grub pa; –) was a student of Je Tsongkhapa, and became his first Khenpo (Abbott) at Ganden Monastery.
